What Kind Of Parenting Technique Was Michael Jackson Using When He Danlged His Baby From The Balcony?

Q&A

I’ve read lots of parenting resources, and I can’t find information about dangling ones child from a balcony anywhere. Is that an effective way to deal with a child?

  4. I Love Funnyjunk.com Says:

It doesn’t fit in anywhere with the pedo technique, but it’s in the unfit parent catergory for sure.

  5. Bobby22 Says:

    The “aggressive” kind lol.

  6. creed Says:

  8. Kara Says:

No it was a mistake on his part and he admitted that was stupid of him.

  9. daljack -a girl Says:

Right after he did that he apologized.

He said it was really a stupid thing to do and he wished he hadn’t done it.

  10. Ali B Says:

he said that was a mistake and he should have never ever done that its definitely not a parenting technique.
Unless he was trying to stretch out his baby
He might of just been showing off the incredibly cute little baby!

  11. I♥Summer Says:

Oh whateves. He was just showing it to the people.

    Now what is your problem?

  12. Harry Potter Says:

What kind of typing technique are you using to ask this question? I took a year or two of typing classes and I’ve never known that Capitalizing The First Letter Of Every Word Was Correct….Hm.

  13. bookworm Says:

He should never have been a parent. Those kids should have been taken off of him years ago. He probably molested them too..

  14. thomasl Says:

stupid question, have some respect, even if you don’t have respect for yourself

  15. Grey Person Says:

I guess you aren’t very familiar with African customs, so of course you think this is funny.

Ever watch the movie “The Lion King”? It’s based on African customs and traditions, all the things you probably think are funny. The leader holds up the new baby prince for all to see and adore. Michael was following a custom that has a long, respected tradition. He was at the highest point with the crowd of fans below, and he held up his little prince. He was not dangling him, he was not tossing him over the side, he was holding up his pride and joy for the world to see. He was proud of his baby.

    Educated people know this.

  16. Chill Says:

He just got a little overexcited. I am pretty sure that he had regrets about the event and would have never harmed his children

paparazzi leave me the F alone

  18. longhorn_4_life_2006 Says:

  19. ladyinleppard Says:

granted it was very poor judgement but who hasnt made mistakes in their lives? some worse than others. He cant change it and hes dead..LET IT GO

  20. hoshi H Says:

I’d Like to dangle you from a balcony. How can you make fun of The King of Pop? How can you make fun of a dead guy?

  21. My heart went KABOOM Says:

I think that is from the school of if everything you did was watched by millions you wouldn’t look so perfect either douche bag.

  22. Ghost of Jane Doe Says:

Your smartassed question is very thinly veiled…

I don’ see a problem. He didn’t drop the baby. He didn’t harm the baby in any way. He simply wanted to show his fans his new child. What’s the problem?

  23. missin' u MJ! :[ Says:

dumb a$$es lyk u always gotta bring out the negativity a person does [no offense] jus let it go man..LET THE MAN REST!

  24. seekn2know Says:

This is a sarcastic question. Dangling is not a good parenting technique any more than holding a newborn close to a live alligator was when Steve Irwin (also gone) did it, but people loved both of these men very much.

People make bad decisions every day and still love & protect their children the best they know how. It doesn’t mean they are always bad parents. They used poor judgment.

  25. sneakypeak900 Says:

for God sake why do people not just give it a rest, he has died and people are still bringing up things from the past. Did he drop the effing baby??!!! NO! i actually happen to think he was an amazing father- Paris’ little speech proved that. he loved his children and they loved him.

fans, lets remember MJ for his music and good nature, not for people twisting his behaviour.

  26. Anthony M Says:

Michael Jackson was a sick pervert. People need to quit putting him on a pedestal.

  27. Jasmine Says:

He DID NOT dangle (or whatever “danlged” is???)
is baby, he was holding his baby up to show his pride & joy off to his fans!
